Late Bronze Age / Early Iron Age pottery vessel
Rim and body sherds 6-14mm thick of quite soft fabric containing crushed rock and grog inclusions. Oxidised pale orange external surface, brown internal surface and dark grey core. One rim is bulbous, slightly flattened and expanded with a complete perforation below the rim. The other rim is flattened and externally expanded with the edges of two perforations visible on either edge.
