Two Decades of Blast Furnaces (booklet)

Thirty eight page booklet with green cover. Pages are printed in black and green ink on white paper. Includes numerous photograph. A souvenir booklet by Ashmore, Benson, Pease & Co. Ltd., Stockton-on-Tees. First edition (1950) of a booklet charting the development and construction of blast furnaces from 1930 - 1950. Each page contains a photograph and a description of various furnaces constructed. Welsh examples include Guest Keen Baldwins Iron & Steel Company Limited, Cardiff blast furnaces No's 1, 2 and 4 (1932-1936) and The Steel Company of Wales Margam No.1 furnace (1945-1946)
