Each page contains a photograph and a description of various furnaces constructed. Welsh examples include Guest Keen Baldwins Iron & Steel Company Limited, Cardiff blast furnaces No's 1, 2 and 4 (1932-1936) and The Steel Company of Wales Margam No.1 furnace (1945-1946)
