Early Medieval human remains
These are moderately preserved remains from the inhumation burial of a young adult (17-34 years) who was probably female.
The burial is from phase D: 436-772 AD She was buried in an extended supine position in a simple grave oriented West-East.
Her remains showed evidence of Schmorl's Nodes, which are small pit-like depressions caused by herniation as a result of either heavy labour or pregnancy putting strain on the back.
The burial is associated, by proximity, with SK104
