The footprint-track is orientated in a north-easterly direction. The footprint-track had a small circular outline with faint evidence for the tips of the cleaves. The maximum footprint-track outline length is 6 cm and width 5cm. The track was 4 cm deep. An alginate cast was taken and then a plaster replica made. The small size of the outline suggests that this is either a roe deer footprint-track or a juvenile red deer. The depth and poor quality of the track do not allow for further identification, and suggest that the animal had stepped in a particularly soft patch of sediment that did not hold a detailed impression on the foot. It is unlikely that the animal turned its foot within the track and blurred the features as the tips of the toes are visible, although not well-defined.
