Teapot and cover, bone china, Can shape, oval body with inset base, vertical sides, domed rim, a curved spout of U-shaped cross-section rising above the rim and a high loop handle, the shallow domed cover with oval loop knop and a flange below shaped to fit the ledge of the pot rim and with a locating lug; the pot decorated on one side with the 'Cornpoppy' pattern (C2176), a transfer-printed poppy flower in red, dark red, black and brown.
