Full title - Card of Prices of Best Blue Slates, Slabs, &c.
Prices and particulars of slates of the Craig Ddu Slate Quarries Co., Blaenau Ffestiniog, dated 1st January 1906. The prices given are for machine dressed ‘blue slates’ in various sizes (ranging from 26’’ x 16’’ to 10’’ x 6’’), and of various quality (‘best’, ‘medium’, ‘second’, ‘strong medium’, and ‘third/damp course’ quality slates). Prices of slate slabs, ridge roll, ridge wings, capping, and cisterns, are also provided. The price list is printed on light pink card, is folded down the centre, and has two staples on spine. The donor’s family were timber merchants in Taunton, Somerset. They supplied timber and slate to local builders and merchants, and as a result acquired a collection of slate price lists.
