Digtial copy of original photograph showing 'Officials and Workmen of the Gellyceidrim No.2 Colliery, who were recognised by the Amalgamated Anthracite Company for displaying courage during the influx of water on the 29th November 1929'. Mounted on card with inscription printed above, and names and occupations of the men printed below. The photograph shows the men awarded presentation watches for saving 145 men from underground. These include Mr Jones whose watch is in the Museum collection (2020.1).
