Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)
Small plate of creamy white earthenware, standing on a narrow tapering foot rim, rounded sides, flaring to form rim; the rim moulded in lobes, alternating with two small and one large with beading to outer rim; transfer printed in black with a view of a church with figures, a dog and a horse and cart in the foreground, the inscription ST MARY'S CHURCH TRURO printed below within a thin circular black band with a wider black band to the outer rim beneath the beading.
