Wedding dress
Wedding dress worn by Ellen Williams, Llanfrothen, 1898. Consisting of bodice and skirt in shot silk (red and blue threads giving effect of purple). Bodice is lined and boned. Long fitted sleeves, puffed at shoulders. Open at front to show figured silk plastron. High collar. Six pearl buttons on either side of front. Panelled flared skirt.
