Coffee pot, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a rounded foot-rim, pear-shaped body, triangular beak spout with foliate moulding to the underside, loop handle with foliate moulding and raised thumb-spur, round high domed cover with to the top a finial modelled in the form of a flower head with stem and leaves; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to either side of the exterior body of the coffee pot an oval panel painted with in one a view of a wild boar and in the other a stag, the panels enclosed by puce trellis-like borders entwined by ribbon-tied flowers, around the rest of the exterior body of the coffee pot, the underside of the spout and the top of the cover are scattered floral sprigs, the spout and handle picked out in puce and gilt, a gilt edge to the rim of the cover, the finial picked out in puce, yellow and green.
