Welsh Folk Museum Answer Book, 1959, containing notes written in Welsh by Evan Roberts from Llandderfel, Meirionethshire (1877-1977) on customs relating to death and burial. Answer Books were sent out by the Welsh Folk Museum in 1958 to individuals across Wales as a way of collecting and documenting information on aspects of folk culture in their areas, including agriculture, crafts, food, customs and dialects. The responses were hand-written in the books. The Answer Books had a similar purpose to the earlier questionnaires sent out in 1937.
