BAUMGARTNER, Christiane
(Printmaker)
Christiane Baumgartner's work often reflects motion and the passage of time, in individual scenes and in the modern world more widely. This woodblock print, depicting wind turbines towering over a motorway, embodies the contradictions that exist in a world wrestling with its reliance on fossil fuels.
