Crayon/pastel on paper drawing of a coal face (c.1950s/1960s) at Six Bells Colliery. The men are 'turning the conveyor' basically dismantling it and re building it in its new position as the coal face advances. Note the undercutting machine to the left of the picture. Signed 'Chopper' bottom right, and dated 1985. Mounted, framed and glazed.
