Blanket
Tapestry weave carthen (Welsh woollen blanket), with reversible geometrical pattern in dark blue and cream. No fringe. Probably an example of the work of the late W. E. Morris, Esgair Moel factory, Welsh Folk Museum (now St Fagans National Museum of History). Edges finished with blanket stitch using white woollen thread. Woven label machine stitched to corner. Green lettering inside rectangle with rounded corners and underneath a stylised depiction of St Fagans castle: AMGUEDDFA WERIN CYMRU
