Sucrier with cover
Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)
Sucrier, oblong, earthenware, standing on a rounded oblong foot rim rounded oblong body, bulging at shoulder, anthemion moulding to upper flange rim; domed cover with anthemion moulding surrounding oblong finial; twin scrolled horizontal handles; transfer printed in purple with the 'Mignionette' pattern of scrolling sprigs with geometric borders of triangles and semi circles to upper body, to either side of lip rim and to handles.
