Dish, soft-paste porcelain, standing on a rounded tapering foot-rim with spreading gently curving sides, a scalloped edge to the well, the sides fluted, the rim scalloped; painted in underglaze blue, polychrome enamel colours and gilt with a Japanese-style decoration, to the centre of the well a curving spray of chrysanthemum-like flowers, foliage and grape-like fruit, the interior sides painted with alternating panels of a gilt lattice and flower head design on a blue ground, a blue and green lattice and flower head design on a pink ground, and sprays of flowers and foliage on a white ground, four large red and gilt flower heads are spread over these panels, to the exterior sides are three spreading spays of flowers and foliage, two concentric blue bands to the base.
