Plate, hard-paste porcelain, circular shape with short cylindrical foot-rim, curving sides and spreading rim, a shaped edge to the rim with six wide lobes, the rim moulded with a raised rococo pattern of scrolled panels, alternate panels contain an additional raised trellis moulding, six raised moulded scrolled leaves extend down the sides of the well from the rim towards the centre of the well; a turquoise ground covers those parts of the rim not enclosed by scrolls, the rest of the plate finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well a group of fruit and flowers, scattered floral sprigs around the rest of the well, the panels to the rim painted with alternating sprigs of flowers and climbing plants in the panels with trellises, the raised moulded areas picked out in gilt.
