Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
List of Welsh terms agricultural carts and ploughs from the Pembrokeshire and Cardiganshire area by Stephen Davies, Cardigan, in response to Welsh Folk Museum dialect questionnaire, 1983. See also Welsh Folk Museum Manuscript MS 3140. Answer Books were sent out by the Welsh Folk Museum to individuals across Wales as a way of collecting and documenting information on aspects of folk culture in their areas, including agriculture, crafts, food, customs and dialects. The responses were hand-written in the books. The Answer Books had a similar purpose to the earlier questionnaires sent out in 1937.
