(479gt) : Built 1938 by Gebr van Diepen at Waterhuizen, Holland for Jan van der Laan, Groningen (managed by J. Loos). Powered by a 7-cylinder Deutz diesel engine. 1940 – Siezed by the Germans, designated NS.6, and used for minesweeping duties based at Stavanger, Norway. 1941 – Renamed SPERRBRECHER146 and transferred to France. She was sunk at Pauillac by an Allied air attack in August 1944, but was refloated and repaired in 1945, and returned to her original owners together with her original name. 1949 – Acquired by Legrand Brothers of Bordeaux and renamed ENSEIGNE-YVES-BIGNON. 1950 – Bought in November by NV Stoomvaart Maatschappij ‘De Maas’ (Phs Van Ommeren NV) and renamed HOLENDRECHT. 1952 – Bought by Metcalf Motor Coasters Ltd., London, and renamed PAUL M. She was broken up by T W Ward Ltd., at Grays, Essex in August 1965.
