Black and white photograph showing rear view of the model (71.54), made by Mr Cyril Cole, of a double tandem compound vertical marine engine (scale 5/8" : 1').
The engine was originally produced by the North Eastern Marine Engine Co. for installation in the Inman Steamship Company's liner CITY OF NEW YORK in 1878.
