Whole-cloth quilt made with a brown cotton sateen top and green cotton lawn backing. Another older patchwork quilt had been used as wadding this can be seen through tears in the back layer. The inner quilt is made from pink and green flannel and brown, patterned cotton lawn fored in a pattern of diamonds. It has wool fleece wadding and is quilted with green thread. The inner quilt is smaller than the outer quilt. The design appears to be quite symmetrical and atttractive but it is only possiable to see a small area through the tear. The outer quilt top is made in three srips. It is corsely quilted in pink tread which has faded to white in place. The design is a ssimple concentric arch which is not completly symmetrical.
