Dressing jacket

Pink quilted dressing jacket, 1950s. Made by Mrs P.M Jeffreys of Merthyr Tydfil, who later gave the jacket to Cefncoedycymer Chapel to raise funds. She was a pupil of the well-known quilter, Miss Jessie M. Edwards who taught quilting classes in Porth and Merthyr.
Pain around neck. Short length, with full length sleeves. No fastening. Mainly double trellis quilting pattern, with border of flowers and leaves.
