Post-Medieval pottery salt

Glazed salt in the figure of a woman in the costume of the Tudor period. Polychrome brown glazed with yellow applique decoration. The base is heavily restored with plaster of paris.

Tudor lady carrying a dish for salt, 1530-50. Found at the site of the old Lloyds Bank, High Street, Cardiff.
