Cup and saucer, soft-paste porcelain; cup standing on a straight sided foot rim, indented above, curved sides flaring at lip; high closed c-scroll handle; saucer on a flat unglazed base with rounded spreading sides; both painted with an orange red ground, the cup reserved with two cartouches of polychrome flowers bordered by gilt c-scrolls, and a flower spray inside the bowl, the saucer with three cartouches and a central circular reserve; gilt dotted border inside cup lip with c-scrolls and cartouches; gilt band to foot rim and lip, and gilt anthemions on handle.
