Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Cream jug, soft-paste porcelain, inset base wthin a peach-shaped flattened-off foot-rim, peach-shaped body with slightly curving sides, a series of stepped levels to the lip-rim, and a shallow spout curving over to one side, plain loop spout moulded to resemble a plant stalk with two small moulded leaves issuing from either side of the lower handle; delicately painted in polychrome enamels with to one side of the body a spreading spray of naturalistic flowers and to the other side of the body a smaller sprig of naturalistic flowers and a small insect, a further naturalistic flower head and foliage to the interior bottom of the jug, the handle tinted with pink and the moulded leaves painted green, the jug cracked and repaired.
