Frog - trolleybus electrically operated conductor junction frog. Only one item on short accession card, five labels read 1. frog. 2.solenoid (similar to that used in Cardiff with the high speed junction frog). 3.'comealong' (wire grab hook used in tensioning trolleybus wire system). 4.wire joint section (used in the Cardiff trolleybus wire system). 5.spreader (hickory spreader bar, used in the Cardiff trolleybus overhead wiring system).
