Letter rack
Letter rack, tin-plate, long flat form with scalloped edge, three overlapping plates with scalloped edges to hold letters or cards attached to the back by metal tacks, a pierced hole at the top for hanging; the reverse of the rack covered with a black japan, the front of the rack covered with a chocolate brown japan and decorated with an all-over pattern of small stars and star, loop and stripe borders in silver to which the varnish has given a golden tinge.
