Cup, orange-buff earthenware, standing on a flat base, bulbous lower body tapering toward shoulder, throwing rings giving slightly ribbed effect to body, flaring toward incised lip rim; ridged loop handle; the base unglazed, a rich brown streaked manganese glaze to some exterior areas, the remaining areas with an orange-brown orange-peel effect salt glaze, the interior base, blackened crazed and scorched.
