Taperstick, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a foot rim curving into flared spreading sides, shaped with a ridged ring handle; cylindrical sconce, indented at base, with an everted lip; painted in pink, blue, green, yellow, and orange enamels with a border of alternating pink roses and blue convolvulus; a narrow band of gilt leaves and dots around middle of sconce; plain gilt bands to saucer and sconce lip, centre of saucer, and base of sconce; gilt detail to handle.
