Mug, bone china with a creamy white translucency; standing on a rounded foot rim indented and ridged above, cylindrical form; a scrolled loop handle with a leaf moulded upper thumb spur; painted on the front with the monogram JB, in gilt, flanked by two leaf and flower sprays, and eight sprigs; with a gilt band to the foot, and to the interior and exterior of the lip, gilt edge and brushstroke to the handle.
