Plate, soft-paste 'trident' porcelain, with a deep earthy brown translucency; standing on a straight sided foot rim with slightly cushion moulded and straight spreading sides; transfer printed in black enamel with a Mumbles coastal scene of five figures and wagon on the shore, five sail ships, and a fishing village in the distance with peninsular rocks and a lighthouse; gilt lip and inner gilt line.
