Coffee pot and cover, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a foot rim, pear-shaped body, folded spout, scroll handle, domed cover with a mushroom-shaped, metal finial; decorated in monochrome black enamel, on one side with a harbour scenes, eight figures in foreground with barrels, ships behind, otherside with a harbour scene, two figures in big hats with feathers, ships to left, harbour behind, both within gilt and purple lustre cartouches with purple and gilt scrolling, purple sprays of flowers in between cartouches, underneath, below and on handle, gilt band to foot rim, ornamental gilding to neck, gilding to spout, cover decorated in monochrome black enamels with a panoramic harbour scene with many ships and figures, standing on two iron-red concentric cirles, gilt band to rim.
