Pearlware mug, straight slightly tapering side; handle with moulded acanthus leaf spur and gilt decoration. Gilt bands to upper and lower rims, gilt border around upper rim of overlapping pointed ovals, each with three dots vertically arranged inside. Gilt relief shield on front, containing E monogram. Pale orange ground to rest of body, with decoration of varying sized circles in darker shades of orange. Underside of foot painted dark brown.
