Jug, oval form with raised integral lip, broad inverted rim, angular handle with thumb spur. Greyish white porcelain with greenish tinted glaze. Enamelled and gilded band of decoration below shoulder, of puce enamel roses alternating with gilt cornflower heads, each swag separated by a gilt dot from which a gilt spray of leaves hangs vertically. Gilt edged base, rim and handle, narrow gilt band at shoulder and series of horizontal gilt strokes on handle.
