S.S. FORT BRULE (7133gt). North Sands type vessel built 1942 by West Coast Shipbuilders Ltd., Vancouver, for MoWT (managed by Sir R. Ropner & Co.) London. 1947 - Returned to the U.S, Maritime Commission. 1948 - Sold to Scindia Steam Navigation Co., Bombay, and renamed JALAMOTI. 1960 - Sold to Northwind Navigation Co., Panama, and renamed ADAWIND. 1963 - Sold to Interocean Navigation Co., Panama, and renamed ISLAND ADVENTURE. She was broken up at Kaohsiung in 1967.
