Inkstand, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain, with a greenish translucency; standing on a tapered foot rim, rounded sides flaring prominently at lip; cylindrical inkwell in the centre, and three tapering penholders attached to the inside of the dish; painted in polychrome enamels with sprays of flowers inside the dish, three around the cylindrical inkwell, and four to the exterior of the dish; gilt bands to foot rim, lip, and inkwell and penholder rims.
