Wedding costume
Wedding dress (boidce and silk) of purple shot silk. Bodice has a high neck and flap at the top of each sleeve. Cut straight in front to reveal a black-and-white striped under-blouse gathered in front. Cuffs of sleeves lined with the same material & with lace frill. Worn by Mrs Maggie Lloyd-Griffith of Golden Fleece, Tremadog, who married a carpenter, Robert Griffith, in 1896.
