Long case with 8 day movement; square brass dial with cast brass rococo decoration in spandrels; hour and minute hands; independent seconds dial within chapter ring; circular date aperture; seconds hand a later replacement; oak case with shaped trunk door, brass knob and lock escutcheon; flanked by 2 fluted columns; fielded panel in base; hood has plain supports, a broken pediment and a later turned wooden centre piece; glass cracked.
