Jug, hot water, and cover
Hot water jug, hard-paste porcelain, rounded foot-rim, pear-shaped ogee body and cylindrical neck, beak spout with foliate moulding to the underside, double intertwined handle with spreading leaves at the terminals, round domed cover with to the top a finial modelled in the form of a flower head with stem and leaves; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to either side of the exterior body a riverside landscape with buildings and figures, two smaller landscapes to the top of the cover, gilt lines around the exterior lip-rim of the jug and the rim of the cover, the spout and handle picked out in gilt, the finial picked out in puce, yellow and green.
