Plate, white earthenware, circular shape with inset base, curving sides and spreading rim; transfer-printed in green with to the centre of the well the head of a male figure with curling beard and hair and a wreath around his head, the head enclosed by a wreath of leaves, border to the rim of a pattern of rounded-off oblongs and pendulate lines between green bands.
