Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, octagonal with bulbous rounded shoulders and a short vertical octagonal-shaped neck, straight spout, loop handle, indented base; the neck and the base of the teapot are banded with double line borders in underglaze blue, divided into panels by underglaze blue lines and painted with orange and gold lotus flowers alternating with flower heads in underglaze blue.
