Full title - Prices and Particulars of "Greenarvon" Welsh Green and Rustic Slates.
Prices and particulars of slates of the Welsh Green Slate Quarries, Caernarvon, dated 1st January 1913. The prices given are for ‘ "Greenarvon" Welsh Green a Rustic’ slates in various sizes (ranging from 20’’ x 10’’ to 8’’ x 8’’), and of various quality (‘green best’, ‘rustic best’, ‘green seconds’, and ‘rustic seconds’ slates). The price list also gives details of slates that could be purchased to architects’ specifications - ‘peggies’ and ‘randoms’; and also the terms and conditions of sale. The price list is printed on light green card, and is folded in three. The donor’s family were timber merchants in Taunton, Somerset. They supplied timber and slate to local builders and merchants, and as a result acquired a collection of slate price lists.
