Prehistoric copper alloy sheet
Sheet of lead-tin-copper (?) alloy, roughly triangular in shape with curved sides and rounded edges. Incomplete with an old break. Around the margins of the break, there is the surviving section of a circular decorative motif. It is possible that a second concentric circle is also present. In addition, a small lunate or semi-circular design, alson projecting on this surface, is positioned next to the external edge of the circle motif. The centre of the sheet has been pressed by a circular shaped projection, which has caused a tear, suggesting this sheet may once have been inserted between two surfaces.
