Plate, eight notches to rim, recessed foot ring. Transfer printed in underglaze blue with a design of a cheetah or leopard by a cave, with a deer running towards it; in the background a chinoiserie landscape of buildings, rock, boats, two male figures. Border pattern of flowers, fruit, trees in blossom, flowers. Narrow outer border of jui motifs. Three sets of stilt marks on underside.
