Rag-rug sample (looped/hooked) made with hollow tube on 6x6 inch hessian backing, black cotton border with blue triangles and white/blue/purple floral patterned diamond in centre. Alison Morton label tied to sample with hand drawn diagram and note ‘HOLLOW TUBE worked from the back with long strip of Rag’. AM notebook: ‘During winter 1984/85 Made 6" square samples using the different tools I have collected. 2 Tufted and 2 looped. Black border with different coloured triangles and centres’.
