Oral history interview conducted as part of a project exploring the legacy of pioneering tattoo artist Jessie Knight and her influence on the tattoo community in Wales today. The first part of this interview discusses Dewi’s journey into tattooing and his style and practice as an artist. He talks about his tattoos being inspired by Welsh culture and why people want their culture tattooed on them, as well as what the tattoo industry is like in Wales and the role of social media in working as a tattooist today.
