Newspaper article

Western Mail (Publisher)

Newspaper article from the Western Mail, 25 June 1956, reporting on the unveiling of a stained glass window at Cardiff Royal Infirmary in memory of Sir William Reardon Smith.

The article reads: 'The Archbishop of Wales dedicated a stained glass window to the memory of the late Sir William Reardon-Smith at the chapel at the Cardiff Royal Infirmary yesterday. "He was a benefactor of this infirmary and of many other things" said the Archbishop. The window was unveiled by Lady (Elizabeth Ann) Reardon-Smith. Here she is seen leaving the chapel accompanied by the Archbishop, her son, Mr Allan Reardon-Smith, and other members of the family'.
