Round dessert dish, soft-paste porcelain, 'duck egg' type with a greenish translucency, lustrous glaze with a slight grey-green tinge, exceptionally irredescent around the enamels. Standing on a shallow foot rim, cruciform, moulded in four large and four small lobes, painted in the centre with purple hoary stock (matthiola incana) amid small flowers and grasses, decorated below the rim with a continuous band of hatched and shaded gilding, comprising fluted vases with conical covers alternating with arabesques, floriate scrolls and florets between two gilt lines. Two pad marks by foot rim.
