Braiding
Long length of pasting lace used for trimming coach upholstery. The lace is wrapped around a thin piece of wood which has split in 2 and another piece of wood has been fixed to the back of the bungle using a piece of string to stabilize it. The lace is dencley woven with a navy cotton base weave and raised, un-cut maroon wool in a central stripe pattern.
